2021-2022 Academic Year Scholarship Application

 

Thank you for your interest in the James M. Dye Foundation Scholarship Program.  The Foundation takes pride in offering scholarship assistance to qualified students attending South Georgia State College's Waycross Campus and/or taking classes in a hybrid or online format.

Scholarships are awarded during fall and spring semesters.  Applications for summer semester consideration are subject to availability of funds.

Please make sure you have completed the following steps so that the Foundation may consider your application:

  1. Be accepted as a student at South Georgia State College.
  2. Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and any additional steps/paperwork for SGSC's Office of Financial Aid.
  3. Register for classes for the upcoming semester in which your application is submitted.

Acknowledgement:

I confirm that the information provide in this application is true and accurate to the best of my knowledge.  I understand the Foundation could send communications to the home address, email address, and/or cell phone I have provided.   I understand that any award decision from the James M. Dye Foundation is subject to possible adjustment based on my GPA, enrollment status (full-or-part-time), financial aid, or failure to meet other Foundation requirements.  I also understand this adjustment could occur at any time during the academic year.  Finally, I understand awards cannot be transferred to another institution.
