Business Office FAQs for Financial Aid

Students may access their account summary through theirTouchnet account.

Students may make payments online via the Touchnet Payment Portal.  Below are the steps to access the Touchnet Payment Portal:

Nelnet is a third party vendor who administers a short-term payment plan for students, making college tuition more affordable.  For more information or to sign up for Nelnet, please navigate to /afford/tuition-and-fees and click on the “NelNet Payment Options” link.

Yes, Students can pay for tuition and fees by cash, check, cashier checks, money order, or credit card at the cashier’s window on the Douglas and Waycross campuses.

Students may also make payments online via the Touchnet Payment Portal.  Below are the steps to access the Touchnet Payment Portal:

SGSC does not accept credit/debit card payments via phone. 

Students may have their excess funds electronically disbursed to the checking or savings account of their choice. To exercise this option, students may log into their Touchnet account and designate the account.  For students who choose not to exercise this option, a paper check will be mailed to the address on file in the student’s self-service Banner account.

The refund disbursement dates will be posted on the SGSC website.  These dates can be found on the SGSC website via the following:

  • Click Current Students
  • Click Tuition and Fees
  • Scroll down to see Student Refunds

Payment deadlines will be posted on the SGSC website.

  • Click Academic Information
  • Click Academic Calendars

Phone calls, emails, and texts will also be sent to students as reminders.

A student may print a copy of their 1098T tax form from their BannerWeb account. Please see SGSC website for instructions.
