Southeastern Credit Union And Dye Foundation Establish Partnership

Berry Tanner (center), Ware-Pierce area executive with Southeastern Credit Union (SCU), presented a contribution recently on behalf of the organization to the James M. Dye Foundation. Accepting the check was Foundation Treasurer Cindy Sowell. Also attending the presentation were (L-R) Casey Jeffers, Ellen Cox, and Brenda Steverson of SCU. Established in 1976, the James M. Dye Foundation provides financial assistance to Waycross Campus students through scholarships and grants. The Foundation also provides funding for initiatives within the Waycross Campus and SGSC that are not covered by the State of Georgia. The Dye Foundation is grateful to welcome SCU as a new educational partner, because community support furthers the Foundation’s mission for years to come. All contributions to the Foundation are tax-deductible to the extent of the law.
