SGSC Speaker Series: Understanding local and state governments through the eyes of our elected officials

Join South Georgia State College (SGSC) for the second Speaker Series event featuring a conversation with local and state government officials. On hand will be dignitaries such as Representative James Burchett, Representative John Corbett and Senator Tyler Harper on the Waycross campus on Thursday, October 10th, at 5:00 pm in the Dye Commons. They will share their experiences, discuss challenges which impact the region and provide insight on how local and state officials are working together for the betterment of the communities in the area.
The program originally planned for the Douglas campus on Tuesday, October 8th has been postponed to an undetermined later date.
Frank Pridemore and Rebecca Sims, SGSC’s associate professors of political science, will lead the program. All students, faculty, administration, and staff are invited.
