Nursing students spread holiday cheer!

South Georgia State College GANS -Georgia Association of Nursing Waycross students and Kasey Strickland - Professor of Nursing are spreading holiday cheer!

They collected coats and sweaters for the Called to Care Closet. Kristen McCarthy of Called to Care says, "It is efforts like this that warm our hearts and let the local foster community know they have support from the larger community as a whole."

GANS also created an Angel tree for three families from different surroundings counties. Students, staff, and faculty took Angel names off the tree and bought the listed gifts that the children had requested. GANS thanks all those who participated to make children happy this Christmas season!!
