South Georgia State College offers high-quality associate and select baccalaureate degree programs as a state college within the University System of Georgia. 1. The retention rate is determined by dividing the number of students who are retained or graduated at the individual institution by the number of students who were intitally in the cohort. The system-wide rate is determined by the number of student who are retained or graduated at the individual institution or within the University System of Georgia by the number of students who were intially in the cohort. South Georgia State College data has been excluded from the state college sector rates.
2. The minimum pass rate for a testing cohort established by the Georgia Board of Nursing is 80%. This rate is determined by dividing the number in the cohort who pass the test by the total number in the cohort taking the test.
