Bachelor's Degrees
Whether you are looking to begin your college education or have decided to return to complete your degree, consider enrolling in one of SGSC's bachelor's degree programs.
Bachelor of Science
- Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences (BSBS)
- Bachelor Of Science In Elementary/Special Education (BS ELE/SPED)
- Bachelor Of Science In Management (BSM)
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology (BSMET)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN-BSN)
The BSBS degree gives students two tracks: the nature and ecology track engages students in unique ecological sites in the region including the Okefenokee Swamp Park, while the pre-professional track is designed to meet the prerequisite courses for entry into the professions of medicine, dentistry, pharmacology, and other health-related fields.
The BS ELE/SPED will qualify students for teacher certification through the Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC). Students graduating from this program will receive a Bachelor of Science in Elementary/Special Education degree from SGSC.
The BSM degree is designed to target both traditional students and working adults who are in, or aspiring to be in, middle management roles or small business owners with multifaceted roles. The BSM program has three options for students to choose as a concentration: Marketing, Organizational Behavior, and FinTech Academy.
The BSMET program is designed to prepare students with a wide range of technical manufacturing design, development, operation and evaluation skills. The program will also incorporate experiential learning opportunities through internships and hands-on training in order for students to apply the knowledge they are learning.
The RN-BSN degree provides increased career opportunities for students and stronger healthcare services for our communities by training students under the teachings of exceptional nursing faculty in excellent nursing lab facilities.
